Poker at Renshaw Street
On the gaming floor at Renshaw Street we run live Three Card Poker, dealt at a dedicated table in the main room. It sits alongside American Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and a bank of electronic roulette terminals, so you can move between formats without leaving the venue. The poker table is dealer-led, follows standard UK casino procedures, and all play is in GBP. You will find us at 45-55 Renshaw Street, Liverpool, L1 2SF, open around the clock, with live tables usually running from midday every day.
It is important to know if you are mainly looking for tournament poker or dealer-dealt cash poker that we operate that at our sister property, Genting Casino Queen Square. That venue runs poker from Tuesday through Sunday and works as the main card room within our Liverpool set-up. Both casinos operate under Genting Casinos UK Limited, so your membership card and player profile are recognised at each site, no need to sign up twice or open a separate account.
What Is On The Gaming Floor
At peak times there are around 12 live table games open at once, spread across different staking levels to suit most budgets. The current mix of games looks like this:
| Game Type | Format | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| American Roulette | Live dealer | Multiple tables available |
| Blackjack | Live dealer | Standard UK casino rules |
| Three Card Poker | Live dealer | Single dedicated table |
| Baccarat / Punto Banco | Live dealer | Available on main floor |
| Electronic Roulette | Terminal | Self-service, no dealer |
| Slots | Electronic | Various machines |
Our bar opens from 2pm and trades through until 3am, so you can pause for a drink without needing to leave the casino mid-session. The building itself operates 24 hours, but live tables only come into play from midday.
How Three Card Poker Works At This Casino
For anyone who has not sat at a Three Card Poker table before, the structure is straightforward once you have seen a few hands. A typical hand at Renshaw Street looks roughly like this:
- Wait for the dealer to finish the current hand before you sit down, so you do not join in the middle of a deal.
- Swap your cash at the table for chips. We handle cash payments on site, in GBP only.
- Place your Ante bet in the marked area of the layout before any cards are dealt.
- After all Antes are in, we deal you three face-down cards.
- Check your cards, then either fold - losing the Ante - or put down a Play bet equal to your Ante to continue.
- The dealer then reveals their three cards. They must have at least Queen-high to qualify.
- If the dealer does not qualify, your Ante is paid 1:1 and your Play stake is returned. If they do qualify and your hand beats theirs, both the Ante and Play bets pay 1:1.
- Any Pair Plus side bet pays out based purely on the ranking of your own hand, regardless of what the dealer holds.
For newer players it usually helps to stand and watch a few rounds first rather than sit down and bet straight away. Our croupiers are generally comfortable with that and will tell you when there is a space.
Stake limits can go up or down depending on the time of day, how busy we are and a few operational factors, and they may change with little notice. If you want the current minimum and maximum stakes before travelling, call us on +44 (0)151 708 8866 and we can confirm what is running.
